ORLANDO, Fla. – Amid the spring break travel season and an increase in demand, prices at the gas pump have only changed slightly in Florida.
According to the latest data from AAA, Florida’s average gas price reached $3.08 per gallon on Monday, marking a slight increase from previous weeks.

This price is 3 cents higher than what drivers paid a week ago and 8 cents more than last month. However, it remains 37 cents lower than the price at this time last year.
Mark Jenkins, a spokesman for the auto club, commented on the current situation.
“Crude oil prices are flat, despite various geopolitical issues. Last week, the state average briefly dipped below $3 a gallon for the first time since December,” said Jenkins. “However, the state average rebounded to its current price, which is within the same range that gas prices have been in through most of this year.”
As of Monday, the national average is $3.08 a gallon.
