2 shot at Boca Vista Apartments in Altamonte Springs, police say

Injuries non-life-threatening, according to police

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Two people were shot overnight at an apartment complex in Altamonte Springs, according to police.

Officers responded to an altercation reported at Boca Vista Apartments, the Altamonte Springs Police Department said in a statement. We watched early Friday as investigators placed evidence markers throughout the space, some on multiple cars with bullet holes in them.

Two of the people whom police say were involved in the altercation later presented to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs with gunshot wounds, according to the statement.

The patients’ injuries were non-life-threatening, police said, adding the victims were being uncooperative.

No further details had been shared or confirmed at the time of this report.
