Follow your ears to the Maitland Jazz & Blues Festival

MAITLAND, Fla. – Enjoy the spring weather listening to live tunes at the Maitland Jazz & Blues Festival, a two-day event featuring local and touring artists.

The event, which runs April 4-5 at Independence Square in downtown Maitland, features 12 bands, according to the event’s website.

“Each year the Maitland Jazz and Blues Festival brings together some of the best local and touring artists for a big music celebration blending traditional and modern sounds. One part jazz, one part blues - totally amazing performances,” event organizers promise.

Friday features 8 Ball Aitken, Ebony Carlson with Michael Andrew and Chris Cain. Saturday’s lineup includes the 501 Band, Laurel Hatfield and The La La Band, Artur Menezes, The Buzzcatz, Steeln’ Peaches, Sisaundra Lewis and Albert Castiglia.

There will also be food and drinks, vendors and an entertainment zone for kids.

General admission for the event is free, but VIP packages are available.
