Florida Forest Service says crews will continue to monitor the fire, which is still burning but contained. Earlier Tuesday, there were concerns about gusting winds and what officials called erratic fire behavior.

Florida Forest Services firefighters and aircraft are working the fire, and Lake County Fire Rescue crews are working to protect structures.

A burn ban is currently in effect in Lake County because the county has not had a significant amount of rainfall for some time.

That means burning yard debris, land, or unauthorized piles of debris is prohibited. So are recreational fires.

Small contained fires in outdoor fireplaces, barbecue grills, and fire pits are allowed.
