According to police, Kraft was driving his four-door Jaguar east on State Road 46 near Summerlin Avenue when he struck Russo, who was traveling on a motorcycle in the lane next to him.

Kraft didn’t stop and continued east on SR-46 before making a U-turn and heading west, police said.

According to authorities, Kraft then drove over a median and across the eastbound lanes, striking the motorcyclist again and Campbell, a good Samaritan who was helping the biker.

They both died at the scene.

A jury found Kraft guilty last month of DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death.

“At trial, Assistant State Attorneys Stewart Stone, Rich Coln and Sarah Mian presented evidence that showed Kraft was under the extreme influence of methamphetamine at the time of the incident. Kraft did not deny causing the deaths but claimed he was insane at the time,” the state attorney’s office said on Wednesday in a statement.
