According to a probable cause affidavit, a woman at the home said she was trying to get her cellphone and router back from Davison, who was in a bathroom.

Davison opened and closed the door on the woman’s arm several times before pulling her into the bathroom and throwing her to the floor, the affidavit said.

He then got on top of the woman and choked her, grabbing her by the neck with both hands, deputies said. At one point, he pressed his forearm against her throat, the affidavit reads.

This marks Davison’s second domestic-violence-related arrest after his October 2023 arrest on a charge of battery-domestic violence. The charge was later dropped by the state attorney’s office.

Davison now faces a charge of battery by strangulation.
