CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis visited Citrus County on Thursday to deliver a check for infrastructure improvements.

DeSantis awarded $2.8 million from the Job Growth Grant Fund to Citrus County, meant to help to build a wastewater line for the yet-to-open Holder Industrial Park.

“Citrus County applied for an award under this because you have the Holder industrial park, which is trying to attract more and more investment,” DeSantis said. “It’s planned, it’s shovel-ready, this can be something that could make a really big impact.”

The governor was joined by Florida Commerce Secretary Alex Kelly.
