WATCH IT AGAIN: SpaceX launches more Starlink satellites into orbit

50% chance of favorable weather, officials say

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX on Friday launched another Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The mission deployed 53 more Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit.

Favorable weather conditions for the launch were forecast to be 50%, increasing to 70% in the event of a one-day delay, according to the 45th Weather Squadron.

The company said the first-stage booster to be used in Friday’s mission, B1062, has previously flown Ax-1, Inspiration4 and three Starlink hauls among its other missions.
