CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX plans to launch another batch of Starlink satellites from Florida’s Space Coast, but the date is in flux.

The launch of a Falcon 9 rocket with Starlink 6-1 payload was scheduled for 1:37 p.m. Thursday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, but SpaceX tweeted late Wednesday that the mission will not lift off until Sunday at the earliest.

However, if the Crew-6 mission is all systems go for early Monday, SpaceX will stand down on Sunday’s launch attempt, the company said.

When it happens, the Falcon 9 rocket will deliver Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit as part of SpaceX’s continuing effort to build an internet network for underserved areas.
