WATCH IT AGAIN: NASA, SpaceX launch supplies to space station

Florida launch scheduled for Thursday afternoon

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.NASA and SpaceX launched a resupply mission this week to the International Space Station.

The Falcon 9 rocket launch took place at 4:55 p.m. Thursday from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Florida’s Space Coast.

The mission, known as Commercial Resupply Services-30 or CRS-30, will send a SpaceX Dragon capsule to the space station, delivering 6,000 pounds of new science investigations, food and supplies, and equipment. Docking at the ISS is set for Saturday.

CRS-30 marks the 30th SpaceX commercial resupply services mission.
