WATCH AGAIN: SpaceX launches next batch of Starlink satellites from Florida

24 satellites sent into orbit

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites Thursday from Florida’s Space Coast.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket sent 24 Starlink communications satellites into orbit at 8:21 a.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The 45th Weather Squadron forecast a 15% chance of weather interfering with Thursday’s launch.

This was the 18th flight for the first-stage booster being used in this mission, which previously launched mPOWER-C, OneWeb2, Intelsat 40e, Digital Globe 2, Turksat-6A, Eutelsat 36X, Ovzon-3, CRS-26 and nine other Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
