BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX on Saturday successfully launched another batch of Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from the Space Coast with a Falcon 9 rocket.
Liftoff took place at 2:18 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch was originally scheduled for Friday afternoon.
The 45th Weather Squadron forecasted a >95% chance of favorable weather conditions at launch time.
Twenty-one Starlink satellites took the ride from Space Launch Complex 40, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, according to SpaceX’s website.
It was also the 17th flight for the first-stage booster in use, following Crew-6, O3b mPOWER, Bluebird 1-5, USSF-124 and 12 other Starlink missions, the website states. With that done, the booster went on to land on SpaceX’s A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic ocean.
