SpaceX launches Falcon 9 into orbit from Florida coast

Launch took off at 10:34 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink satellites from the Space Coast on Monday evening.

The launch happened just hours after Amazon’s first Project Kuiper launch is set to liftoff from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket with the 23 Starlink satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities, launched from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center at 10:34 p.m.

According to SpaceX, this was the first flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission.

Following stage separation, the first stage was set to land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which was be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
