Winter is making a comeback! No surprise thereā€”it is still February, even though it hasnā€™t really felt like it. Youā€™ve probably heard your local meteorologist mention wind chills, but why do they matter?

Hey yā€™all, meteorologist Michelle Morgan with you talking about the chill in wind chill.

Simply put, wind chill helps you understand how cold it actually feels on your skin and when conditions could lead to frostbite or hypothermia. But hereā€™s a cool factā€”wind chill isnā€™t something we measure; itā€™s something we calculate!
