Coming 2026 — Universal Kids Resort
I have to admit; I’ve been so laser-focused on Epic Universe stories the thought that a Universal park is happening in Texas was sidelined in my mind.
The truth is, the opening of Universal Kids Resort isn’t far off.
Set to debut in 2026, this first-of-its-kind resort is specifically designed for families with young children. These themed lands will be based on the DreamWorks, Illumination, and Jurassic World franchises, as well as Nickelodeon.
I know quite a few Texans who love visiting Central Florida theme parks, so a Universal park in the Lone Star State is a smart move.

Phase 2 of Epic tickets 🎟️
Universal Orlando Resort has always had decent Florida resident ticket offers, and for any resident eyeing a visit to Epic Universe this year, listen up.
As part of its second wave of ticket offerings, Universal announced details on vacation packages for Florida residents and military members.
There are a few options for Florida residents to choose from, including one that will delight Potterheads.

By the way, Universal made note in this announcement that additional ticket options for Universal Epic Universe – including single-day tickets for the general public – will go on sale in the weeks ahead.
All this Universal news has me pumped.
I can assure you there will be lots more Universal-related content as we count down the days until Epic Universe.
