Disney’s Blizzard Beach Reopens Nov. 6 (Disney)

For the first time since before the pandemic, Walt Disney World guests will have waterpark options this summer.

Greetings, my network of theme park followers, it’s Haley.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon were ever going to operate at the same time again. I just figured we’d get the typical notice that Blizzard Beach will be closing soon for the season, and Typhoon Lagoon will be opening for the summer.

But alas, Blizzard Beach will only close for a brief time next month. Guests can celebrate a Blizzard Beach summer and the park’s 30th anniversary with a slide down Summit Plummet.

Since we’re talking waterparks, the nightlife will awaken soon at after-hours events. I did a wrap on what you can expect this year.

ICON Park
Construction setback 🔵
Blue Man Group at ICON Park (ICON Park)

Shows at Blue Man Group’s new Orlando home were supposed to start this week at a theater built from the ground up.

However, construction is still very much in the ground stage as it hasn’t gone vertical.

Blue Man Group hasn’t given the reason for the postponed construction, but I can’t help but think how tariffs could impact Central Florida’s tourism industry.

Looking at the Blue Man Group’s online calendar, tickets are for sale starting May 29.

Puppy Pawty (Museum of Illusions)

If you love taking photos of your dog, why not take them to one of the best photo-worthy attractions for a special day?

On April 12, the Museum of Illusions Orlando is throwing a Puppy Pawty.

The special occasion invites guests to bring their dogs to explore the interactive and immersive museum that’s home to dozens of eye-fooling exhibits.

Epic Universe
Epic on tour 💫
Universal Orlando Resort is set to launch the National Epic Universe Portal Tour this spring (Universal Parks & Experiences)

For those wanting to get a taste of Universal Epic Universe from afar, Universal is putting together a little tour to promote its upcoming theme park.

The National Epic Universe Portal Tour is headed to select cities starting this month, with the last leg of the tour wrapping up in June.

If you or someone you know lives near one of these pop-up spots, be sure to check it out.

If you’re headed out to any of Central Florida’s theme parks, don’t forget to post a photo to our PinIt! page. There is an In The Loop channel.
