Hunt told Corie about the challenges of managing finances in the celebrity sphere and the importance of understanding your own credit and finances whether famous or otherwise.

“Most people would be surprised to know that celebrities are more apt to have bad credit than an average person because of their lifestyle, and so if you spend this amount of time on the road and you spend this amount of time being off, away from your home and everything else, you’re not collecting your mail from out of the mailbox. Concerning your credit issues, it’s easy to lose sight on it and so they’re more apt to actually miss bills, start making late payments,” Hunt said. “My job is to get all of their issues handled, to address everything negative in their credit reports and to help them to get the new home, the new cars, building the credit, starting a new business; everything that relates to credit, it’s my job to clean all of that up and make that happen.”

Hunt recounted how he battled homelessness to get where he is today, going from working on public Wi-Fi to being passed from one celebrity to another in a prosperous cycle of success.

“It was about 11 years ago, I had lost everything, walked away from a bad relationship, left everything behind and was determined to just simply start over. I started with building this business and started in Starbucks and set up a table in Starbucks. I would get there at 5 a.m. and sit in Starbucks with my little cheap laptop and flip phone and handle client issues, talk loud enough so that people around me would hear, customers would hear me talking, and I was smart enough to do it in the most exclusive areas so it started to draw clients and the rest is history. I started to get celebrity clients even while I was in Starbucks. So it just shows that if you really want something and you’re willing to work your butt off to get it, you can make anything happen. The possibilities for success are basically endless,” Hunt said.
