ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic announced on Saturday that forward Franz Wagner will be “out indefinitely” with a torn right oblique, the same injury that has teammate Paolo Banchero sidelined.
The Magic said Wagner’s return will “depend on how he responds to treatment.”

Wagner was hurt in Friday’s loss at Philadelphia. He started each of Orlando’s first 25 games this season, a huge reason why the team is off to a 16-9 start.
Wagner has been a key player for the team since Paolo Banchero also suffered a torn right oblique in late October.
