Oviedo High School finished as district runner-ups and with 17 wins in the 2024 baseball season.

“I’ve waited all year for this,” Timber Creek pitcher Brody Juntunen said. “[We] had a rough end to our season last year. But now, [we’re] back, better than ever.”

The Timber Creek High School baseball team had a 24-7 record in 2024, making it to the state semifinals.

In softball, Trinity Prep is in a new district. Pitcher McKenna Hawley hopes the change will bode well for the team.

“I’m really excited to see the different competition, but I also think it’s exciting because past years, we’ve gotten second in districts,” Hawley said. “So, this year, I’m hoping to get first in districts.”
