WILLIAMSPORT, Penn. – The Lake Mary All-Stars are set to take on the team from Boerne, Texas during the U.S. Championship at the Little League World Series on Saturday.
But ahead of the hallmark game, News 6 is placing a wager against its Texas partner, KSAT.

While Lake Mary crushed the competition in five of its World Series games so far, it’s suffered only one loss thus far — and that was to Boerne.
As a result, the upcoming championship game will give Lake Mary the opportunity for a rematch against the rival Texas team.

If the Lake Mary All-Stars come out on top, KSAT has promised to donate $1,000 to the Florida team. But if Boerne’s Little League team manages to win, News 6 will instead give $1,000 to them.
The U.S. Championship is set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. If the Lake Mary All-Stars come out on top, they will then play on Sunday against the winning international team.
