BAY LAKE, Fla. – Walt Disney World is preparing to reopen Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

According to Disney’s website, the attraction will reopen on April 16, and will be included with Disney Genie+ until Aug. 7. Following that date, the ride will likely return to an individual lightning lane status, a special tier of Disney Genie that requires guests to pay an additional fee to get front-of-the-line access.
