ORLANDO, Fla. – Michael Myers is making a slashing comeback to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Beginning Sept. 2, guests will come face-to-face with the horror icon once again as they walk through John Carpenter’s classic 1978 slasher film “Halloween.”

“Halloween is one of the most popular horror films of all time and to many fans, spawned the most-feared antagonist in horror movie history – Michael Myers. As the franchise’s latest trilogy concludes with Universal Pictures’ release of Halloween Ends on October 14, guests will venture back to where it all began in “Halloween” – eerily authentic haunted houses that depict the most chilling moments from the critically-acclaimed original film,” leaders said in a news release.

Universal said the house will transport guests to the infamous town of Haddonfield, on Halloween night, when Michael Myers first embarked on his brutal rampage. Donning the iconic white mask, Myers will unleash terror at every turn as guests wonder through his dilapidated home and iconic scenes from the movie.

Michael Myers has appeared in several Halloween Horror Nights haunted houses over the years. Last year, guests walked through the house “Halloween 4: the Returns of Michael Myers.” Last month, Universal announced the haunted house “Universal Monsters: Legends Collide” will also be at this year’s event.

Halloween Horror Nights will include 10 terrifying haunted houses, live entertainment and so much more.

Tickets and vacation packages are now on sale.
