Leaders said this is the second Shetland pony born at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch.
“Just like pixie dust, this sweet Shetland pony foal’s personality shines! Pixie is very energetic and inquisitive, and she has been spending a lot of time bonding with her mom Lady and exploring the sights and sounds at Tri-Circle-D Ranch,” Disney said in a statement. “The bond between Pixie and Lady is very tight, as the two often gallop side by side through the pastures around the ranch.”
When fully grown, foals will grow up to be approximately 450 pounds.
In the future, the new foal will help pull Cinderella’s carriage alongside its sister, Lily, who was born in 2019. Nearly 100 horses and ponies call Tri-Circle-D Ranch home.
