TAMPA, Fla.Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is preparing to usher in a festive Mardi Gras celebration.

Beginning Jan. 13, guests visiting the theme park will experience the flavors and flare of New Orleans’ grandest celebration. Guests will get the chance to try delectable Cajun-inspired foods, see a Mardi Gras parade featuring festive characters and multicolored beads, and hear live music from a range of spirited entertainment around the park.

“Guests can get a taste of Bourbon Street at the popular event, which features a new crepes station, and foodie favorites such Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Andouille Sausage Po’ Boy. Traditional cocktails such as Hurricane, signature mocktails, beers and wine will also be available for guests,” the park said in a news release.

Busch Gardens said one of the best ways to experience the event’s food and drinks is by purchasing a Mardi Gras sampler lanyard, which is available in quantities of five and 10. The sample lanyards start at $40 and can be purchased at select locations around the theme park.

Busch Gardens pass members will have the chance to purchase a 12-item sample lanyard for the price of a 10-item sample lanyard.

Busch Gardens Mardi Gras celebration is running till March 3, and is free with park admission.

The Mardi Gras celebration will be happening at the same time as the park’s “Real Music” concert series, which runs till Feb. 25. The concert series, happening at the park’s Stanleyville Theater, allows guests to listen to several tribute bands.
