As part of Disney’s announcement, the park shared details of the ride.
The attraction will feature dozens of new audio-animatronics figures, including one pictured at the top of this story. You’ll see “a bunch of familiar faces and new friends that will fill up the bayou with their unique personalities,” according to Disney Parks Blog.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be a “festive party” during Mardi Gras season that Tiana throws to “thank her family, friends and the entire community for all the support they’ve given her as a successful business owner,” Disney said.
Disney Imagineers shared last year that they’re collaborating with GRAMMY award-winning artists PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard on the music guests will hear as part of the all-new adventure. Both natives of New Orleans, Morton will help create a new original song and songs for the attraction, while Blanchard will create the musical arrangements for the attraction’s queue.
Over the past year, Walt Disney Imagineering has shared some of the research they have done to make sure the attraction is authentic as possible to the city and people of New Orleans and the surrounding Louisiana area. From the music guests will hear inside to the small animal critters along the ride track.
