Florida’s Most Immersive Waterslide-Tassie's Underwater Twist, Coming Spring 2024 (Aquatica)

ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s a new twist on fun at Aquatica Orlando.

SeaWorld Orlando’s water park announced Thursday the opening date for its newest attraction, “Tassie’s Underwater Twist.”

Starting March 15, guests will be engulfed in and transported to the sights and sounds of Australia’s Shark Bay with an all-new digitally immersive waterside experience.

Labeled as the only waterslide experience of its kind, guests will encounter incredible species such as manta rays, humpback whales, schools of fish, a variety of plant life and an occasional shark, all while twisting, turning and swirling through a unique super-bowl element.

“Aquatica Orlando is proud to welcome the all-new Tassie’s Underwater Twist to our park, with its one-of-a-kind immersive experience and adrenaline-pumping twists and turns,” said Brad Gilmour, park president of Aquatica Orlando. “We are so excited for guests to experience this incredible immersive attraction that only Aquatica could create while making unforgettable memories with family and friends.”

Manufactured by WhiteWater West Industries, the 129-foot-long, two-person innertube waterslide will feature a synchronized video display, along with an inspiring orchestral score. The importance of seagrass meadows will also be highlighted through visual components along the path of the ride, encouraging visitors to learn more about seagrass meadows and the marine life that depends on them.

Annual pass members can be among the first to slide on Tassie’s before its grand opening on March 15. For a limited time, SeaWorld guests can take advantage of the Spring Break Sale and save up to 50% on tickets, Fun Cards and Annual Passes.
