ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – For many, meal planning is a big part of any vacation, and whether you’re staying on Disney World property for multiple days or booking for a celebration, dining is a big part of the experience.

The company announced it’s making improvements to its dining reservation system, such as making and viewing dining reservations and mobile ordering.

One option available now is allowing users to see time slots at a restaurant for the entire day on DisneyWorld.com and the My Disney Experience app. Reservations are sorted by breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, so guests can easily choose a time based on the menu.

Users will also be able to see dining availability for multiple days at a time. With a single search, you can view available dining reservations for any given restaurant for up to 10 days at a time. Disney has not given a date for when this new feature will take effect.

For guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you can make reservations 60 days before arrival for their entire length of a stay (for up to a 10-night stay).

As for a simpler and quicker dining option, app users can sort the list to see which mobile order locations are close by and offer the earliest available pickup times in the app.

Just last year, Disney made updates to its restaurant reservation system including its cancellation policy. Guests can change or cancel up to two hours before their scheduled reservation at most Walt Disney World restaurants.
