EPCOT’s Test Track to close temporarily for reimagining phase

BAY LAKE, Fla. – A popular EPCOT attraction is halting test drives this summer.

Test Track presented by Chevrolet will close temporarily beginning June 17 as the attraction enters a reimagining phase.

While no details have been revealed, Disney did release a rendering of the reimagined attraction.

Test Track was one of the many Walt Disney World attractions featured in last year’s Destination 23 presentation as executives talked about future ideas for Disney theme parks.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Imagineers along with teams from Chevrolet are reaching back into history for inspiration — from the original World of Motion ride that once occupied the space — and bringing that spirit of optimism to the next iteration of the Test Track attraction.
