Tallest flying jet ride in North America coming to Fun Spot Orlando

Fun Spot America to add 4 new rides across Central Florida theme parks

ORLANDO, Fla. – More thrills and family fun are coming to Fun Spot America.

The company announced that five new rides will be added to its theme parks, including two new rides in Orlando, two new rides in Kissimmee and one ride in Atlanta. The rides — all manufactured by SBF-Visa Group — have been relocated from The Funplex in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

“We’re always looking for ways to keep our parks fresh and exciting for our guests,” said John Arie, Jr., CEO of Fun Spot America. “Adding these new rides is a way for us to continue offering unique, memorable experiences. This is a HUGE investment for FSA to make for our guests without any price increase, keeping our prices affordable for the entire family.”

According to a news release, Fun Spot Orlando’s tea cups ride will be replaced with a silly and colorful tea cups attraction, and in the weeks to follow, an SBF-Visa Group 50-foot tower planes ride called Mach Fun, the tallest interactive 360° flying jet ride in North America. Guests will experience barrel rolls and spiraling dives while spinning and soaring through the air.

In Kissimmee, there’s an exciting new SBF-Visa Group Swing Around ride in the Kids Spot section. Designed for younger guests, this classic swing will remind people of a beautiful sunny day.

In addition, Kissimmee will feature a massive 60 foot towering new ride, Up and Overboard, an SBF-Visa Group-manufactured Inverted Pendulum ride featuring twin gondolas. The ride will light up the night sky as guests go up and over 360 degrees experiencing a feeling of complete weightlessness.

Fun Spot’s season passholders will be among the first to learn when the rides will open. Fun Spot America will be sharing additional details and images about each ride, including opening dates, on its social media channels and its website.
