Ever since the Main Street Electrical Parade pulled out of the Magic Kingdom, the “kiss goodnight” experience hasn’t felt complete for many.
“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will start lighting up the streets in the summer of 2025. According to the Disney Parks blog, the Blue Fairy from the classic tale, “Pinocchio,” will weave the transformative magic of starlight through each float and every costume in the parade, illuminating the stories in a vibrant constellation of wonder, hope, and imagination.
The parade will feature classic and new favorites from Walt Disney Animation Studios films like “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen,” “Moana,” and more.
Makin’ landfall in Adventureland in late 2025, the new Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired tavern will welcome pirates of all ages with a sea-worthy selection of grogs and grub.
The park also hinted about a “few mysterious and magical surprises in store.”
EPCOT
EPCOT’s popular attraction for test-driving virtual concept cars will make its return lap in late summer 2025.
Previously known as Test Track presented by Chevrolet, the attraction will reopen as Test Track presented by General Motors with an all-new storyline.
Park officials also added that guests might even see cars returning to the test track with their new look early in the year.
EPCOT’s signature landmark will be home to a whole new experience in late spring.
The Spaceship Earth Lounge honors the intertwined history of Spaceship Earth and EPCOT itself and will celebrate the legacy of the icon’s past while admiring its future.
Along with a menu full of culinary creations, the elevated lounge will offer views of the park from an entirely new angle.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Before Disney Villains are summoned to their new land in the Magic Kingdom, fans can get a dose of evil at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And we now have an official name for the new villainous show that is taking over the Sunset Showcase.
Slated for a summer opening, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will feature famous foes such as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent.
Muppets, monsters, mermaids, oh my!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will undergo significant changes in the coming years. Just last month, Disney revealed where Monsters Inc. and Muppets will be taking over.
On Tuesday, Disney gave an update on a longtime attraction set to reopen next summer with a new name and show.
Initially slated to open in the fall of 2024, “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will be a vibrant cast of puppets, live performers, and stunning visuals. The stage show will feature songs “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World,” plus two new-to-this-theater musical numbers, “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”
“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” marks the return of “The Little Mermaid”-inspired show. Previously the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, the attraction closed in March 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
If you’re looking to try everything at Disney’s Animal Kingdom next year, be sure to visit the Tree of Life Theater in the winter for “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”
The Zootopia-inspired show will replace “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” Disney also noted that time is running out to experience Dinoland U.S.A. before extinction and transformation into the new Tropical Americas land.
