WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – It’s the most bricktastic time of year at Legoland Florida, with seasonal shows, cheerful LEGO characters, and an array of themed and festive food.
To top it all off, there’s an all-new LEGO Christmas tree at the entrance of the park.
Towering 32 feet high and made from nearly 365,000 bricks, the tree took Master Model Builders more than 2,800 hours to build. The 10,000-pound tree will be topped with a LEGO star built out of 5,200 bricks.
On Saturday at 6 p.m., two LEGO Masters champions will be on hand for the inaugural tree lighting ceremony.
LEGO elves of all sizes
While an Elf on a Shelf is officially in season in many households, elves have taken over MINILAND USA with their playful antics.
During Elf Extravaganza, elves will get into all kinds of holiday fun. From teaching guests how to become elves at the Elf Training Academy to posing for photos with new LEGO Elf characters Ivy & Frode, and Santa.
As for other entertainment, there’s the new Holly Hype Dance Party and the Festival of Flurries with LEGO Snowman.
As the year winds down, Legoland will host Kids’ New Year’s Eve where you can catch nightly DJ dance parties and 3D LEGO fireworks, Dec. 26-31.
On Dec. 31, there will be a special “brick drop” countdown for a kid-friendly finale!
All holiday celebrations are included with park admission.
