A year after a man killed a priest, the priest’s sister, his own grandfather, and also wounded two officers, there could finally be an answer why Palm Bay police said Brandon Kapas went on the shooting rampage.

Across town from where he last served the Catholic church at St. Joseph's, Father Bob Hoeffner's neighbors Tuesday said the church placed two crosses at his doorstep. One was in Father Bob's memory.

The Palm Bay Police Department identified the three people shot and killed and the two officers injured in a shootout over the weekend.

The department now confirms four people died Sunday afternoon, including murder suspect Brandon Kapas.
