That task force has met over the last few months, as deputies continue to investigate violent crimes across the county. Now, the task force has suggestions it says can be put into action. Rod Love is co-chair of the task force and joined dozens of community and law enforcement leaders at their final task force meeting Wednesday. The goal is to reduce crime in Orange County after seeing a rise in gang violence that led to the deaths of a teenager and a 3 year old boy last month. Rod Love, former Orange County Commissioner and President of Community Synergy Group is also a co-chair.
