Residents of Florida's Gulf Coast are digging out from mountains of sand after Hurricanes Helene and Milton clobbered them with back-to-back hits in less than two weeks.

Crews are starting to collect all of the storm debris across Seminole County from Hurricane Milton.

Archaeologists believe mysterious debris revealed in the wake of Hurricane Nicole in Daytona Beach Shores could be from the 19th century.

State archaeologists are returning to Daytona Beach Shores Tuesday to investigate mysterious debris that appeared on the beach after Hurricane Nicole.

The amount of debris cleared throughout Orange County since October would fill 5,500 Dumpsters, a news release states.
