Daytona International Speedway officials evacuated the grandstands after the Daytona 500 Race had to be stopped because of the storms. Several fans told Local 6 they couldn't stand the rain, so many called it a night early, missing most of the race. Several viewers sent pictures to Local 6 of hail that came down in Sanford.
