A Florida man is sharing quite the story.

A study found that a 5,000-mile-long Sargassum seaweed clump off of Florida's east coast has been carrying floating plastics that hold the bacteria.

Florida has seen an increase in cases of flesh-eating bacteria this year driven largely by a surge in the county hit hardest by Hurricane Ian.
