A former lieutenant for Marion County Fire Rescue missing out of Dixie County was found dead, according to Dixie County Fire Rescue.

A Florida Purple Alert has been issued for a man missing out of Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

A new Florida alert is now in effect.
