If you have ever dreamed of staying inside Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom now is your chance. On Wednesday, Give Kids the World and Walt Disney World announced a special contest that gives one lucky winner and three guests the chance to stay inside the once-in-a-lifetime castle suite.

In total, Disney World teams collected more than $30,000 for Give Kids the World Village.

Majic Messengers is a non-profit that's helping create memories for families whose child is battling a critical disease or may be terminally ill.

Give Kids the World Village announced its Night of a Million Lights is coming back this year and tickets are already on sale.

Brave thrill seekers in Central Florida found themselves 428 feet in the air Friday to help a Central Florida nonprofit. Give Kids the World Village hosted its annual event Over the Edge, which takes participants to the top of the 32-story Hyatt Regency Orlando and lets them rappel down the side of the building to raise money for the village. From wish children and athletes to the CEO of GKTW, everyone in attendance was there for one reason: to raise money for children staying at the village. KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Give Kids the World Village is welcoming families back almost a year after the resort was forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pamela Landwirth, the President & CEO of the GKTW Village, said the resort shut down in March. She said she can’t wait to welcome families back on Sunday. “Sadly from the time we closed until now roughly 6,000 children have had their wishes postponed to come here and you can imagine the disappointment for these kids,” Landwirth said. KISSIMMEE, Fla. – On Nov. 13, the general public will get a rare look inside one of Central Florida’s hidden gems: Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee. More than 3 million Christmas lights will bring back to life the village after it had to temporarily suspend its services due to the coronavirus pandemic. Members of the public are invited to see the Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee this holiday season. On opening night, guests will walk into a holiday wonderland. Night of A Million Lights will run from Nov. 13 through Jan. 3.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. Give Kids The World will remain closed until further notice, forcing the organization to lay off most of its staff, according to officials with the Kissmmee nonprofit. Give Kids the World Village is a nonprofit resort in Central Florida that relies on the theme parks and its partnership with The Make-A-Wish-Foundation to make the dreams of children with critical illnesses come true, according to its website. Landwirth did not say how soon the nonprofit would try to reopen but that her team would work to do it as soon as it could.
