Seminole High School head coach reflects on teamโs first state title since 2008
Throughout the 2020 season, Seminole High School football coach Eric Lodge would tell his players, โYou get what you deserve.โAfter overcoming the challenges related to COVID-19, gritty opponents and unexpected heartbreaks and hardships off the field, the Seminoles got what they deserved last month: the Class 8A state championship. It was Seminole Highโs first title since 2008 and the ultimate end to an undefeated season. Last week, Lodge was named the Florida Dairy Farmerโs Coach of the Year. Lodge looked back on the season with WKMG Sports Director Jamie Seh. Watch his remarks in the video player above.
After much speculation, UCF Knightโs McKenzie Milton wonโt play against USF
UCF came out on top 58-46 marking the Knightโs fourth straight win against the Bulls and evening the I-4 rivalry to 6-6. However, Milton told News 6 he was confident he would return to play at the Bounce House again. โWhen that moment comes, and I definitely think it will, Iโm going to soak it in,โ Milton said in May. Milton could have another year to play for UCF if he chooses.
Player on Orlando Magic tests positive for COVID-19
ORLANDO, Fla. An Orlando Magic player has tested positive for the coronavirus. News 6 Sports Director Jamie Seh said President of Basketball Operations said Jeff Weltman said a player tested positive in the latest round of tests. @OrlandoMagic Pres of Basketball Ops Jeff Weltman says 1 player has tested positive for COVID in last round of tests. Farouq Al-Aminu will stay out of the NBA bubble to rehab. Earlier this week the NBA said 25 of 351 players tested positive for COVID-19 since the league started testing on June 23.

Since starting her career, Seh has had to shoot her own video and interviews out on the field and at sporting events. I am so blessed that I landed here in Orlando because the opportunities that have come since I moved here have been unreal,โ Seh said. Itโs a journey that has been filled with opportunities like being the voice of The Orlando Apollos football team.

ORLANDO, Fla. โ News 6 captured footage of players from the University of Central Florida and the University of South Florida getting into a skirmish before the War-On-I4 game. Sports Director Jamie Seh said this happened 85 minutes before the 8 p.m. kick.
