ORLANDO, Fla. A bar near the University of Central Florida that had its alcohol license suspended after both patrons and employees tested positive for COVID-19 is back in good graces as of Friday. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the agency that revoked Knights Pub license in late June, issued an order vacating the suspension on Friday. The DBPR claimed that 13 employees and 28 patrons of Knights Pub tested positive for COVID-19. Though Knights Pub has its license back, it still wont be able to operate anytime soon. The owner of Knights Pub is speaking out after the bars alcohol license was suspended, saying that the state used old photos as evidence that his business wasnt following coronavirus social distancing guidelines. Knights Pub owner Michael DEspisito confirmed that the photos were from last summer. A man who lives near Knight's Pub took a photo showing crowds outside the bar on June 5. While Knights Pub is the first locally to have its alcohol license suspended, Gov. On Monday, the director of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County said that 152 cases have been connected to one unnamed bar near UCF.
