Jeff and Lauren Lowe, the couple who own the exotic animal park seen in the Netflix documentary series “Tiger King,” have been ordered by a federal judge to turn over all tiger and lion cubs as well as the cubs’ mothers. According to the Jan. 15 federal court order, the Lowes, owners of Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park and Tiger King, are accused of violating the Endangered Species Act and the Animal Welfare Act. U.S. District Court Judge John F. Heil III ordered the Lowes to surrender all cubs under the age of one year and their mothers to the U.S. government. Since the release of “Tiger King” in 2020, the individuals featured in the show have been broiled in legal problems. Meanwhile, the “Tiger King” himself, Joe Exotic, has been waiting on a presidential pardon from President Donald Trump.

MOUNT DORA, Fla. Mount Dora police say theyre looking for a gray pickup truck thats believed to be connected to a the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man outside a Lowes last month. On May 15, Lamonte Lockhart was found shot to death in the parking lot of the home improvement store on Donnelly Street, according to a news release. Authorities said at the time that the crime was not believed to be random, but they hadnt identified a suspect. On Friday, they released two pictures showing a gray pickup truck with dark tinted windows that is believed to be connected to the shooting. Anyone who recognizes the vehicle is asked to call the Mount Dora Police Department at 352-735-7130.
