The campus is buzzing at Stetson University after their men’s basketball team secured their first NCAA Tournament berth.

Lamont Butler made a jumper at the buzzer, sending San Diego State to its first national championship game with a 72-71 win over fellow mid-major Florida Atlantic in the Final Four.

The buzz is starting to ramp up around the city after the announcement of the eight teams that are set to play during the first two rounds of March Madness – and while the sports community is excited, city leaders say this is a great economic opportunity.
