Boeing’s reusable Starliner capsule embarked on its second-ever orbital test flight Thursday evening, taking off without a crew from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket.

Almost two years after it failed to reach the space station, this could be the month Boeing's Starliner crew capsule paves the way toward helping more astronauts launch from Florida.

SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Endeavour moved to a new spot on the International Space Station to make room for Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft, which is set to launch later this month.

Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft was secured to the Atlas V rocket Saturday morning ahead of its test flight to the International Space Station targeted for later this month.

This launch date and time will only stick of it lines up with the space station schedule and range availability.
