An Orlando-bound flight completed its trip Thursday from Virginia’s Ronald Reagan National Airport after avoiding a collision on the runway with a jet that was starting its takeoff, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Federal safety officials have confirmed they will let Boeing resume deliveries of the 787 Dreamliner jet.
