Sumter County is just one of the school districts across the U.S. receiving funding for low-emission, electric buses as part of the federal government’s EPA Clean School Bus Program initiative.

24% of Osceola County bus routes did not have a driver Friday morning, according to a district spokesperson.

Zach Downes with the Osceola County School District Transportation Services explained three school bus routes were in jeopardy Tuesday morning after several bus drivers called out sick.
