An 18-year-old student at Palm Bay High School faces charges after stabbing another student in the stomach with a pair of scissors, according to the Melbourne Police Department.

Palm Bay High School was temporarily placed on lockdown on Monday afternoon after at least one person was stabbed with a pair of scissors, according to Brevard County Schools.
