Mulan is no longer headed for a major theatrical release. The Walt Disney Co. said Tuesday that it will debut its live-action blockbuster on its subscription streaming service, Disney+, on Sept. 4. The first episode of “Taste the Nation” illustrates just how Lakshmi will get to the bottom of her questions. “Taste the Nation” is also just a great showcase for Lakshmi. After being a cookbook author and reality TV show host, getting to take the lead on “Taste the Nation” is the cherry on top for this gifted woman. All episodes of “Taste the Nation” are currently streaming on Hulu.

A “SpongeBob SquarePants” spinoff is one part of the multiyear deal that is estimated to be worth more than $200 million to Nickelodeon, the New York Times said. According to the New York Times, Nickelodeon opted for a strategic shift to partner with an established streaming service instead of creating its own.
