John Marsack isn’t in the military anymore, but this U.S. Navy veteran continues to serve his country in a heroic way.

Veteran Winston E. Scott served over 26 years in the U.S. Navy, with seven of those years spent as a NASA astronaut.

It’s common for F-18 jet fighters and other Navy aircraft to drop bombs in the middle of the range. The explosions and loud noises may push wildlife out of the forest and onto nearby roads.
