Blast of cold air arrives Monday after nearing 80 degrees Sunday
ORLANDO, Fla. โ The weather whiplash continues. Highs ahead of our next strong cold front top out around 80 degrees Sunday afternoon. Most of the rain is over by 7 a.m. Monday morning, but the cold air will take its place. Wednesday morning temperaturesFrost will be possible Tuesday morning through Thursday morning with most widespread frost occurring Wednesday morning . Warming up Monday after a cold weekend
Sunshine will quickly get rid of any frost that has developed and help to warm our temperatures back to the mid 60s. High, thin clouds will gradually increase across Central Florida by the afternoon and evening. With a mix of clouds and sunshine, temperatures surge back into the 70s ahead of the next system. Temperatures Tuesday remain in the mid 70s before a cold front later in the day. There will be a high risk for rip currents again Sunday.
Frost and freeze return to Central Florida
Clouds will be locked in for the first half of Saturday before sunshine gradually increases Saturday afternoon. A frost will be possible across most of Central Florida, especially for wind-protected areas. Frost potential Sunday morningCover up or bring in any sensitive plants as the frost/freeze can damage or kill them. With highs only in the upper 50s Saturday, itโs not the best beach day, but if your plans take you to the ocean watch out for rip currents. There will be a high risk for rip currents through at least Saturday afternoon.

Frost Advisory in effect for a large part of Central Florida

There is now a Frost Advisory in Effect for everyone except Flagler, Coastal Volusia, and Brevard counties. Everyone else has the Frost Advisory until 8 a.m. Wednesday. Widespread Frost is to be expected. The high makes it back to 65, not normal, but much better than the 57 Central Florida had for a high today.
