ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 24-year-old Orlando man was arrested on DUI charges after crashing into the back of a Florida Highway Patrol cruiser early Thursday in Orange County, officials said.
The crash happened at 2:20 a.m. on westbound State Road 408 near State Road 417.

The FHP said Rodrigo Alexander Robles Perez was driving a 2013 Nissan west on S.R. 408 when he crashed into the back of the FHP cruiser, which was parked with its lights activated for a lane closure.
Robles Perez and the trooper, a 44-year-old Orlando man, suffered minor injuries, according to an FHP crash report.
The FHP said Robles Perez had a blood alcohol level of 0.221, nearly three times the legal limit to drive in Florida.
“That very impaired. That’s very, very impaired and that is extremely dangerous,” said Lt. Tara Crezcenzi with FHP. Crezcenzi said the crash could have been deadly, but “luckily today, both drivers were OK.”
He was arrested on charges of DUI and driving without a license, the crash report stated. Robles Perez was booked into the Orange County jail.
Thursday morning, jail officials told News 6 the suspect Robles Perez had posted bond and would soon be released.
